The Margaret River Region is located in the south west corner of Western Australia and 280 kms (a 3-hour drive) south of Perth. It is one of the most picturesque regions of the state with a ruggedly beautiful coastline, majestic native forests, dazzling beaches, great fishing, surf spots, art galleries, caves and of course, the many stunning boutique and world-renowned wineries!

To the north you have Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Cowaramup, just to name a few and to the south you have Hamelin Bay and Augusta. Going easterly there is Nannup, Pemberton, Bridgetown, Denmark and Albany, with many other little towns as well.

Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries
Margaret River is a world class wine region and there are plentiful premium vineyards on your doorstep to visit during your stay. We recommend the wineries for a leisurely gourmet lunch; you'll find the gardens and cellar doors are wonderful to take in during the day.
If wine is not your preferred indulgence, there are also breweries and distilleries to visit including Bootleg Brewery, The Colonial and don't forget to visit Cheeky Monkey, one of the newest establishments only minutes away on Caves Road, Wilyabrup.
Food & Shopping
Dining in the Margaret River region is an adventure in itself, with a unique culinary discovery awaiting around every corner. Indulgent treats include Gabriel Chocolate where they make all their own chocolate from the cacao beans, the Margaret River Cheese Factory, Vasse Virgin, Miller's Ice Cream and The Berry Farm.
Margaret River is home to the internally acclaimed Gourmet Escape Food & Wine Festival held in November each year and the dark and daring winter festival, Cabin Fever.
Margaret River township is a lovely shopping precinct with everything you'll need during your stay. There are plenty of speciality shops as well as an IGA, Coles and Woolworths to stock up on supplies.
Nourish yourself at the Margaret River Farmers Market every Saturday morning.
If you want to take a break from the kitchen you will find some delicious gourmet take away meals at The Larder, Squid Lips and Blue Ginger.
Water Fun
For guests who enjoy the water, there are so many coastal activities nearby. Margaret River is a world class surfing spot and each year the 'Drug Aware Pro' is held at Surfers Point. This is an international surfing event drawing the world's top surfers. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer there are over 75 surf breaks in the region.
Fishing
